Sight
by JSM
I see what people don't see
The future lies in front of me
I see what I want to be
It is brighter than I ever see
I don't see what people see
All of sudden, it seems blurry
The blindness take over the dream of me
It is darker than I ever see

Greed VS. Hunger
Greed VS. Hunger
by JSM
by JSM
The
greed wasting their meal
while
the hunger scavenging for food
The
greed has lost their good deed
while
the hunger has lost their pride
The
greed lived with their big obese frame
while
the hunger lived with their cachectic body
When
food no longer become their desire
not
their needs
When
the hunger become world’s biggest problem
and
no one give a damn about it
When
the greed beats the hunger
that’s
when they lost the humanity.

An Imaginary Friend
An Imaginary Friend
by Justine Soraya Morcosso
My
mother tell me a bedtime story
A 3-year-old
girl played
With
a cute little bear doll
With
a kitchen set toy
Alone,
feeling lonesome
Suddenly
she saw something
Blurry,
like a person
Just
like her, but older
She
called him ‘brother’
Then
they played together
She
told him a lot of story
Suddenly
he became her new bestie
Played
with him, ate with him
She
felt safe around him
He
became her guardian angel
A
year had passed by
People
grown up, also her
She
went to kindergarten
He
just disappeared, all of sudden
She
just forgot, like nothing happen
Sun
goes up, morning come
I
wake up and wonder
I
had a strange dream
Figure
it out it’s not only a dream
But
also a memory
3-year-old
me played
With
a cute little bear doll
With
a kitchen set toy
And
my imaginary friend
Together
